Makes me wonder sometimes....who really is a "victim"? Is there really no way to run away? I mean really? Or would they rather stay then potentially be in the streets or lost for a long period of time?

I have seen a number of shows, and read numerous articles on the issue, and there have been cases were the people that victims have ran to conspired with the pimps, and traffickers. Once a victim sees another victim recovered after leaving they erase all bravado of leaving. Also in some (most) cases the victim is dependent on the Trafficker, or pimp for drugs that they become addicted to.

So why am I a Skeptic

So why am I such a skeptic?

I actually was interested in supernatural matters for a period of time. I followed a few psychic circles as well. I have seen behind the scenes and frankly that alone jaded me. I witnessed the antics, and practices of spirit mediums, and that stirred me toward outright cynicism. My sincere question to those who insist that there is somehow a "more real" phenomena to be explored is this... "Where are all the legit investigators?" or even "When will the psychic/spiritualist movement advance, and challenge the medical system that they so denounce?"

So for all those who insist that someone just needs to experience something to believe, expect that there are some who have witnessed what people have wanted others to believe was an experience, and that those people were not so easily fooled.

What Is Truth

03:10 Jul 16 2013
Times Read: 661

The quest for it can be more than a little confusing. Respected web sites, and books can affirm anything you need or want to believe. There is only one demand of self delusion: you must be selective in the amounts of reading, and thinking that you intend to do.

Some notions are easier to believe then others. |Arguments that genuinely respect reason and evidence require simple attention to be convincing. Arguments more careless in upholding reason and evidence require more than this. They must make up in repetition what they lack in power.

Philosophies of the most doubtful kinds require the most avid reading. The are less arresting, and individuals find them sensible only be devoting more minutes to reading their merits than to pondering their loopholes.

So I am just now hearing that Zimmerman had a bleeding nose, and abrasions to the back of his head. Ok.. but still Zimmerman was a MMA fighter in training. He could have physically subdued a teen.

I still say he acted with unreasonable force. I believe there is still room for a civil case against him.

I say the prick should be jailed. Their is no excuse for a man to be putting the hand's on a child. The training that guy has he can put damage on someone. That is bullshit he is getting off like he is.

No one will ever know what went on there. They were both in the wrong GZ is not as bad as people are making him out to be and TM was worse then the angel they try and paint. I believe the girl he was talking to egged him on to do it, GZ should have just stayed in the car and waited for police, but like is said we are no judge or jury.

Possibly, but even his MMA instructor said he had no skill or physical strength. Sadly, the state tried him for 2nd degree murder, knowing full well that the facts and evidence weren't strong enough to convict on anything more than manslaughter.

I'm not so sure that the Martin family will do much better on a civil suit against Zimmerman, especially if the defense can bring up Trayvon's Twitter feed and texts as evidence.

Not That Good Then?

A woman meets a gorgeous man in a bar. They talk, they connect, they end up leaving together. They go back to his place, and as he shows her around his apartment, she notices that his bedroom is completely packed with sweet cuddly teddy bears. Hundreds of cute small bears on a shelf all the way along the floor. Cuddly medium-sized ones on a shelf a little higher. Huge enormous bears on the top shelf along the wall.

Shared from Another member.

The woman is surprised that this guy would have a collection of teddy bears, especially one that's so extensive, but she decides not to mention this to him, and actually is quite impressed by this evidence of his sensitive side!

She turns to him, invitingly... they kiss...and then they rip each other's clothes off and make hot steamy love. After she has this intense night of passion with this sensitive guy, and they are lying there together in the afterglow, the woman rolls over and asks, smiling, "Well, how was it for you?"

The guy yawns: "Help yourself to any prize from the bottom shelf."

Seriously, if you are going to call another person idiot, moron, or other insulting references to their mental acuity then at least pay attention to your own sloppy ass grammar, and spelling. Especially if you are trying to appear to be another person. See it is similar to real life, a person can alter themselves cosmetically (wear a mask, a hat, different cloths) but they can't easily change their height, girth, gait, or posture.

It is peculiar that a number of profiles that are presented as singular profile members have all the hallmarks, and syntax errors evident in the journals, and profiles of other members that instigate, propagate, and promote drama, and trolling.

It is clear that these individuals don't give a damn about the spirit of the site.. they rip right into all the players, and regular cast.

I challenge anyone who uses the cliquey word "LifeForbidden" to define it, or provide a source for it's origin. Because as far as I can tell it has no actual meaning outside of this site. So it is just a word made up.

Think About It Rationally.

If a person can actually attend a weekend seminar, and be "certified" as a "Light/Energy/Chrystal Healer" Then what does that hint at about the overall checks, and balances of "qualified healers"? Would you go to a doctor that only attended two weeks of a pay to pass course? I would hope not. So why would you go to a "healer' who is likely to have payed a fee to be Certified? The whole thing about Alternative/New Age "medicine" is that it is openly defiant to Professional Medical Practice.. it denounces medical advancement, and would have it's devotees reject all advanced medical procedure for a fringe belief in their unfounded, unsupported, and (most importantly) unregulated practices. Think about it.. why do people opt to go into "Spiritual/Mystical/Faith Healing"? Perhaps it has to do with the fact that they don't have to pay Insurance.. and that they don't have to actually even (in some 'practices') even have to actually touch their "patients/ clients'. So they get away with implying services rendered. Of course it is all money in their pockets because most often as mentioned before, they lack loan payments.. because they likely never attended any actual medical school.

Such Vagueness

Such Vagueness... and vagueness is an indicator or insincerity, or deception.

I have been seeing a number of members posting entries that imply that another member engaged them in inappropriate, or uncomfortable (unwanted) messaging.. yet they never copy paste the alleged messages.. to me that supports the possibility that they are either outright fabricating the incident, or they are exaggerating an actual exchange.. or that they may have played a more active role in the exchange then they are letting on.
